I'm always intrigued by the patterning in eastern art. Pattern is not a strong suit of mine, but I use a lot of texture, so I thought I'd try both this time XD

This is so cool! I love random stuff like this! Also, tree...I love trees. There's something so relaxing about painting them, even in abstract form.

Ditto! Sometimes not having any plans prior to painting is the best method.

My plan was "I saw some cool illustrations in circles the other day I think I'll do one in a circle" and then I got distracted by bringing things out the circle and yeah.. XD no longer technically a circle illustration.
