Magical Handbags by FionaCreates Magical Handbags by FionaCreates
The lady with the magic handbag.

I am in love with pink and green as a colour scheme, was messing with muro and wanted to see what I could do with just the web brush, as the soft brushes and me do not agree XD

Made with deviantART Muro

I know. I just haven't been aple to do anything spectacular with it yet... I'm blaming it on the fact that I don't have a tablet ;P

a tablet is a good addition to digital art I agree, but I don't take the "I can't make good art cos I have no tablet" to mean anything. You can use a pencil and paper like a normal person. (not that that is concerned with muro as it is a digital tool in which case my point is redundant)

Yeah I know. I do a lot of stuff in pencil then scan it and use the pen tool to go over it. I know how to get by using a mouse :) Although doing cool stuff in Muro is tricky...

Amazing work. I love the strong contrasting colours.
The soft brushes don't agree with me either. The web brush is definitly my favourite.

it's the web brush that makes Muro Muro... Makes it fun to play with. Now I've discovered I can work like this I might go for more web brush only stuff <3

mind you I'm not so good with the airbrush in photoshop either (unless it's like 1px in size on a doll XD)

your avatar is mesmerizing... I keep watching it solve that maze and I should probably be doing something else about now...

I usually stick to hard brushes. I haven’t got the hang of shading with a soft brush.

Thanks. It is pretty hypnotic. :XD:

Wow! You drew that with only the web brush? That is indeed very cool! I love the pink and green colors also, such a pretty combination. :D

Gotta love the web brush! I dunno what it is but it is the funnest of the brushes to use. :D How did you manage to make the brush strokes look so painterly? Did you lower the opacity and change the softness or something? I'm still trying to get the hang of it. lol

they're all full opacity... I just sort of scribbled. There's a little bit of the scatter brush in the background, but most of it is web brush.

it's taken me several days but I'm getting there with learning how I want to use muro. I've tried drawing on it many times, but this is the first time I used web brush only (except for the dots at the end lol)

LOL.

I tried drawing with the other brushes, but the web one just feels easiest to me too :B

Although the soft one is good for colouring quickly, most of the time the stickmen don't need to be coloured _

I dislike how the soft one manipulates colour when laid on top of other colour XD
