an initial digital work up of Lady Macbeth. Lots of things to be changed to fit the character better however I rather like this picture as a picture

I like the addition of the chess pieces - really adds to the grand manipulator part she plays. Also, that and the red kinda reminds me of the Queens in Alice in Wonderland - and how their crazy with power.

I love the chess concept where macbeth is concerned. Mostly because Macbeth isn't the instigator of any of it. Without her I think he'd have just gone "heh, these crazy witches said I could be king, as if LOL" but she went "actually.... we could do it"

The queen is the most powerful piece on the board, but the king is the one that matters. Coincidence?

It seems everything around me these days is Macbeth themed.
Ever since we started studying it in school, it's been haunting me.

I love the colours, and the chess pieces.

you learn a certain apreciation after a while. Especially now that I can make my own judgements. I don't have a tutor ramming ideas that aren't mind down my throat, I only have to deal with what I think, not what some up themselves lit professor thinks.
