The entire industry of love is convinced that the girl must always be shorter than the guy. Romcoms, Drama, Action, Video Games, Novels, Photographs, Illustrations, Dancing… the girl is either close in height (but still shorter) or much shorter.
Well there are plenty of tall girls out there, and even if as a girl you do become comfortable with your Amazonian height the likelihood of finding a guy who underneath it all is comfortable with being shorter than you is slim. i advocate more hetero pairings with tall girls.

Hollywood unfortunately reinforces that expectation. Look at pictures of Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman together. He's 5'7", she's 5'9", yet he's shown towering over her.
