Illustration Friday - Tall

The entire industry of love is convinced that the girl must always be shorter than the guy. Romcoms, Drama, Action, Video Games, Novels, Photographs, Illustrations, Dancing… the girl is either close in height (but still shorter) or much shorter.

Well there are plenty of tall girls out there, and even if as a girl you do become comfortable with your Amazonian height the likelihood of finding a guy who underneath it all is comfortable with being shorter than you is slim. i advocate more hetero pairings with tall girls.

I love this so much, I agree with you. I'm a tall girl and I'm taller than my boyfriend and I don't care. I would like to see more pairings like this in movies and books, there are more tall girls than we think xD The same for short boys!

I've been watching the BBC series "Call the Midwife" and one of the Nurses is played by a rather tall actress and her character got married to an 'average' height man and they're so cute together even if she's taller. It's nice to see a positive couple where the lady is taller, even if it is in a period drama XD
