For the Illustration Friday topic Contraption.

I got carried away with not only drawing a contraption (or in this case corsets and crinolines) but turning the drawing itself into a contraption.

Drawn in ink, scanned, printed onto thicker paper, cut out and assembled.

The assembly involved stinging a bead on both sides of the hole because I didn't want to use split pins and get little bronze discs everywhere.

For anyone who might want a high res file (with instructions

) please get in touch. As it's black and white you could colour it in yourself, either digitally before printing, or with crayons or paints after printing. (Cost of high res file $5)
