British Museum - Camel

Ancient China meets Fiona’s Illustration.

I went drawing with a friend to the British Museum in London and I only got so far as to sketch the head of this artifact before the museum shut. (I did draw other things lol ->>[link]) I got a chance to take a quick snap on my phone of the artifact, but I blurred it and cut off the camel’s legs.

I’ve really enjoying using real life camel references plus imagination plus blurred photo reference to finish up this illustration

I have also been informed that these Ancient Chinese artifacts are Funeral/Burial artifacts, which explains the sad and tortured looks on their faces.
